Seeking a composer -- any level of experience ok -- to take a story (largely drafted, including scenes and lyrics) and give it musical life. It's more of a musical play, and requires some familiarity or interest in 80s pop and also the music of Ancient Greece (or music that suggests classical Greece, or the Mediterranean.) An odd pairing -- but it makes sense when you learn what the story is. I've written plays before (nominated for best play at the New York Theatre Festival in 2022) but this is my first venture into writing a musical work. There's no money (yet), but I'm very open to collaborating and am looking to create something substantial (this isn't a romantic comedy). Serious minded inquiries from composers with a sense of fun.
