Want someone to read your script and just write to you about it? Try the In-Depth Script Coverage. In this offering, a MusicalWriters.com affiliate dramaturg will be matched to your script, complete a full read, and then send written feedback via email. No video consultation is included in this option.
You Will Need:
- Synopsis (1 page or less summary of your show’s plot and characters)
- Cover Letter (This cover letter should be a 1-2 page document where you tell us about your show in terms of what you are looking for in this session. Feel free to also share your personal artistic statement in this letter – what you’re interested in writing about and why or how you approach your work.)
- 10 Pages of the script & 1-2 Song Demos (for matching with a dramaturg)
- Full Script and all available Song Demos (for the full consultation)
In full reads/listens, it is important to note that our Professional Script Services do not provide music-centric feedback. If song demos are available, they will be listened to in full and may be addressed, but the feedback in these sessions centers predominantly on story, structure, narrative, themes and motifs, and characters rather than how the score is working technically.
